About the Role (Brief)
Front-end developers @ UX Brite are responsible for using their knowledge of programming digital user applications (web & mobile applications) to create enticing, safe, and accessible visual experiences, working with design teams to implement visual elements, optimizing user experiences across a multitude of devices, and providing a continuous flow of working software.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Working with our design team on the overall look and design of our platform.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders on design decisions, and implementation.
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code.
- Validate user inputs and data sources before returning to our APIs
- Producing, maintaining, and modifying application modules as the platform grows.
- Ensuring UI components are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones.
- Routinely testing websites for ease of use, speed, and other quality factors
- Assisting the development team with scrum-based sprints, bug fixing, and other developer-related tasks.
- Work with third-party APIs, along with our own APIs to achieve user stories as defined in our product backlog.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in web design/computer science or similar experience and have a minimum of 2+ years in the field in a similar role.
- 3+ years experience.
- Good understanding of web design concepts.
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of two or more programming languages(JS, Python, Golang, Java, C#/C++)
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Ability to test and debug websites.
- Analytical and detail-oriented individuals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of graphics software such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop, etc.
- Understanding of key website design principles and SEO optimization
- Ability to craft quality code that is maintainable, efficient, and satisfies multiple test cases.
